That the expenditure of the Auckland Hospital Board during the year ended March 31 exceeded lhc receipts by £30,673 was shown in a statement presented at a meeting of lhc board yesterday. The receipts for the year amounted to £251.640 and (he expenditure to £282,313. In the previous year the receipts were £256,440 and ihe expenditure £27J.700,' leaving a debit balance of £15,254. „
