LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, manager of the optician business In the estate of the late Mr JBremner, supplies the following observations on the weather: — Barometer. Saturday 29-90 Monday 30.15 Thermometer. Max. Min. Sunday >. 58 33 Monday ... 60 44 Barometer 30.15, steady. Indications are for fair to partly cloudy weather to-day, and probably to-morrow, ’with seasonable temperature and variable, winds. . Mean temperature, 52.6 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for variable and moderate breezes, southerly prevailing. There is a prospect of fair weather. The night will probably prove very cold, with frosts inland. .Barometer rising slowly.
