MIRACULOUS ESCAPE.
SHUNTER AT HUNTLY STATION. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) HUNTLY, Friday. A miraculous escape from instant death was experienced by Mr Percy Fennessy, shunter at the Huntly railway station, to-day. Mr Fennessy slipped and fell between the rails and three trucks passed over his prostrate,form. The undergear of the Westi’nghouse brake system caught Mr Fennessy, and inflicted cuts on the hands, legs and back of the head, though fortunately not seriously. At latest advice the patient, though suffering from severe shock and abrasions, is progressing favourably and is out of danger.
