THE OLDEST AND LARGEST AUCTIONEERING FIRM IN THE WAIKATO. Last week a great Rotary Conference was held at The Chateau National Park. This is the most luxurious hotel in the Dominion, and the Rotary delegates were unanimous' in their approval of the management and of the quality and high standard of the meals provided- Fow, Cobbe & Co., Ltd., supply all the meat, vegetables and fruit consumed at this wonderful hotel. The public should see that their retailers buy wholesale from the firm, for it is obvious that if the directors of The Chateau are satisfied with the service and produce of Fow Cobbe, & Co., Ltd., these should prove equally satisfactory to others. The Chateau sets the New Zealand standard for hotels and it is a standard equal to any part of the world. Our instructions from The Chateau directors are: “Buy the best that the market offers,” and we are glad to say that we are able to buy in the Waikato, mutton, lamb, fruit and vegetables equal to the best that New Zealand can produce. There is an unsatisfied demand for furniture, in good order and condition and we can sell one waggon-load a day if the price is right. In spite of the fall in butterfat, new comers continue to settle in the Dairy Farm of the Empire and we come in contact with new settlers nearly every day. Times may be a bit harder, but if we show a little optimism and faith in our district, better times will soon come again. NOTICE TO LAND AGENTS.
