CARE OF THE NAILS.

Start by filing the nails to the required shape, keeping them a uniform length, nicely oval but not 100 sharply pointed. Any rough edges should be left and smoothed down with an ornery board. Next rub a litr-le cuticle cream into each, finger, and then press back the cuticle firmly to show the moons. The corners should be rounded with a pair of curved nail scissors, and any hard skin here should be cut away.

A little nail oil, applied on a bit of cottonwool wound round an orange stiok, prevents the nails from getting brittle.

Wipe off the oil, dust the nails with polishing powder, and polish, using a clean nail buffer. Quick, short strokes give the best results.
