MOTOR CYCLE MEETING.
A DAY AT THE NARROWS. The Hamilton Motor Cycle Club held a sports meeting at The Narrows yesterday. The meeting, favoured with ideal weather, was watched by an interested gallery of spectators. Following were the results of the events Acceleration Test. —A. Schmitt (Norton),s.l; E. Robinson (A.J-S.), 2; •K. Newcombe (A.J.S.), 3. Flag Race.—K. Wycherley (Velocette), 1; M. Beaumont (Norton), 2. .Relay Races (five cyclists).—J. Morris’ team was first in each event, and A. Schmitt’s second. Champion Steeplechase—R. Newcombe (New Imperial), 2.27, 1; J. Morris (A.J.S.), 2.31, 2; L. Fowkes (New Imperial), 2.41 4-5, 3. Slow Race. —K. Wycherley (Velo■cette), 1; M. Picard (P. andM.), 2; S. Connolly, 3-Top-gear Acceleration Test.—F.
