In the poll on the question whether liquor licences should he abolished throughout Victoria, the figures so far are : Yes .......... 381,389 No 498,920 Two districts have already voted dry, namely, Booroondara, yes, 10,480; no, 8483; and Nunawading, yes, 10,231; no 7401. Other electorates where affirmative votes are at present , leading are ;* Brighton, Essendon, Geelong, Goulburn Valley, Kew and Polworth. “Wet" votes have a big lead, however, which makes a continuance of the licensing system practically assured.
