Williams concerning mining ordinances in New Guinea is being fostered by the Australian Labour Party. Mr Williams alleges that by the actions of .Messrs J. A. Beasley (Honorary Minister), ancl Et G. Th c charges were refuted by the Ministers whose explanations were accepted by the Party executive and .Mr Williams’ endorsement for a State Parliamentary seat was ordered to be cancelled. Mr Williams has since written to the executive offering to substantiate his allegations, so ’the matter will probably be revived at the Labour Party’s Easter Conference.
