Y.M.C.A. ACTIYITIES. CLUB SEASON CLOSES. POINTS TROPHIES AWARDED. Signs of the coming winter arc now asserting themselves in several quarters, but they are most evident to swimmers, and thus, every week sees a falling off in numbers of those who have spent so much time in the water over the summer months. The swimming season is almost over, and local clubs are concluding their meetings. Last night the Y.M.C.A. members held their final club night in the Municipal Baths. A short programme of events had been arranged, and to (he competitors registering most points in Ihcse trophies were awarded. At Ihis meeting the final figures for the points shields, for which races have been held every club night during the season, were announced.
