GARDEN CLUB.

SHOW AT NGARUAWAHIA. The Ngaruawahia Garden Club heht its second Summer Show on Thursday. Probably on account of the unpropitlous weather of late the entries were not so numerous as at the last show. Those persons who did support- the show are worthy of praise for the whole-hearted) manner in which they exhibited. The dahlias section was exceedingly well represented. The exhibits, particularly in the cactus classes, were of an excellent standard, and competition was keen. There were also good displays in asters, cut flowers, and the decoration classes. Mr Bennett, of Te Kowhai, exhibited an exceedingly fine variety of rose blooms. The vegetable classes were a great disappointment lo the promoters.
