It is understood the Federal Ministry has decided not to recall the Australian COrpmissioner-General in the United States, Mr Herbert Brookes, whose term will expire in eighteen months’ time. The Prime Minister, Hon. J. H. Scullin stated that no final decision has been reached regarding the extra impositioa of 2Ad per gallon on petrol.
