FOR LITTLE COOKS
This is a simple recipe for a delicious sweet, which is quite easy to make. Chocolate Ice. First get together the following ingredients—J. ounce of cornflour, h ounces of grated chocolate, 2 ounces of castor sugar, 1 pint of new milk, i teaspoonful of vanilla or any other favourite essence. -Mix the cornflour with a little milk until perfectly smooth, gradually adding Hie remaintier of Die milk, and stir into a saucepan, adding the sugar, and stir carefully while cooking for about three minutes. Grate the chocolate, melting' with a small quantity of milk, then add this to the mixture. When cold add the flavouring, and allow the whole to freeze, if possible.
