TOMATO SANDWICHES.
Now that tomatoes are very ripe, tomato sandwiches can be disagreeable sodden things unless made in the proper manner. To avoid, cut the tomatoes in thin slices upon a plate or a colander and strain off the juice thoroughly before placing between the bread.
