EiVIPiRE GAMES IN CANADA. NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATION. (Bv Telegraph—Pres? Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The representation of New Zealand at the British Empire Games, to be held at Hamilton, Canada, in August, was discussed at a further meeting of the Empire Games Committee last evening. Mr L. A. Tracey presided. The New Zealanders are scheduled to leave Auckland by the Aorangi on julv 1, returning from San Francisco by the’ Tahiti on September 3, and reaching Wellington on September 22. It is estimated that the travelling expenses would total £llO for each representative. Mr A. D. Bayfield said lie felt confident that the Dominion rowing eight would be worthy of its place with the representatives, and it would have every chance of success. It was probable that the New Zealand eight would be announced after the regatta at Auckland on March 22.
