Wheat, nominal 4s 8d; flour, £ll 5s to £ll 10s; bran, £7 15s; pollard, £8 ss; oats, 3s to 3s 2d; barley, English, 3s lOd; maize, 6s 3d. AUCKLAND PRODUCE. Wheat —Fowl wheat shows an easier tendency. The first of the new-priced purchases will arrive on Monday, and from this shipment sales are being made at 7s 6d to 7s Sd. Oats.—Feed sorts are quoted at a lower rate. Orders are being booked for delivery next week, at 4s lid, but A grade are firm at 5s Id. Chaff.—The market is firm, and no material alteration is expected. Moderate stocks are in hand, selling at 10s 9d to 11s, and supplies in sight are not heavy. Tasmanian chaff has been bought to arrive about the end of March, and also to follow, and from these purchases sales to arrive are being made at 9s 9d on the wharf. Bran and Pollard. —Ample supplies of bran are aavilable to meet all requirements, but pollard is not so easy to get, so that importers have sent lo Australia for limited quantities. On account of the duty being taken off this will sell at the same price as local. Maize. —Trade is quiet, with the price weak at 7s ex store. Merchants are buying only from hand to mouth in anticipation of the importations due shortly from South Africa. Potatoes. —-The market is steady, with a firming tendency, but no great alteration is expected. Supplies can be drawn from the Rangitikei district at £4 10s on trucks. The wholesale price at Pukekohe is £5, and it is evident that there wall be ample to supply the market until the arrival of southern. City merchants are selling at 7s per cwt ex store. Onions. —Dull, with no visible prospects of any export trade this season. The Pukekohe quotation is £4 ss, allowing for sales ex Auckland store at 6s 3d per cwt. KAITIEKE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At Kaitieke on Wednesday we had a most successful sale, when we yarded 3538 sheep. A number of outside buyers was present and competition was keen throughout. The main prices were: Two-tooth wethers 21s 9d to 22s 3d, fat and forward wethers 24s to 255, four and five-year ewes 17s 9d to 21s 2d, poor conditioned 11s 3d to 16s, wether lambs 12s 6d to 13s, smalKlambs 7s to 9s, cull lambs 3s to 6s, one-shear Romney rams 2gns to 4gns, Shropshire rams 2Jgns, 20-month steers £5 12s, 21year steers £7 ss. TE AWAMUTU SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Hamilton, reports: At Te Awamutu sale we penned cattle and sheep in large numbers. Numerous buyers in attendance created a strong demand for all classes, and we have to report a most successful sale.
