Seven shots were fired by the police during a thrilling chase after a thief following the robbing of a safe at Tattersalls Hotel of £IOOO. The man led the chase over the roofs of several buildings and was finally captured after a desperate struggle. , . A second man was arrested in a room at the hotel.
