DISPUTED PROPERTY,
KING COUNTRY CASEPLAINTIFF SUCCEEDS. In the Supreme Court, Hamilton, yesterday, His Honour, Mr Justice Herdman, gave judgment in the case in which Amelia Alice Farwell (Mr Hine) petitioned for a declaration that certain property at Oratoro belonged to her. The ' evidence was reported in last night’s issue. His Honour said that In view of all the facts and circumstances he would hold that Stevens acted as agent for plaintiff in the purchase of this property at Te Kuiti, and that the purchase was made by plaintiff through the mediumship of Stevens, for her own benefit. His Honour therefore declared that the property in question was held in trust for plaintiff by the Public Trustee, and made an order that the property be transferred to her name.
