HON. W. H. TRIGGB RETURNS. . IMPRESSIONS OF SOUTH AFRICA. ANTJ-BRITISH SENTIMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! WELLNGTON, Thursday. Hon. W. H. Triggs and his wife arrived from London by the Ruahino, after an extended tour, which included South Africa. He took port in the inter-Parliamentary 'conference, in Berlin. Mr Triggs expresses himself a® shocked at the facial bitterness in South Africa, and the distinctly antiBritish feeling shown by the Ilertzog Government. The Treaty with Germany effectively debarred any further preference to Great Britain, and there' was no disposition of official quarters to encourage either British-made goods, British Immigration, or investment of British capital. 'The anti-im-perial spirit is chiefly in the Transvaal and Orange Free State, and is strongly resented by Natal and Rhodesia, which are thoroughly loyal to the Mother Country.
