GENEROUS GIFTS.
FOR ADVANCEMENT OF SPORT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Wednesday. As a parting gift to his native town which he was revisiting after an absence of eleven years, Mr. W. Barrington Miller, well-known in theatrical circles, now a resident of London, lias left with trustees £IOOO, to be applied for tho advancement of various sports, also trophies valued at £250, which he had purchased in London, as a gift to local sports bodies.
