As a result of an inspection, it was slater] at a meeting of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society it appeared that no black swans had been disturbed except by flood waters at Wairarapa Lake. There were no traces of any nests having been robbed. Those which were destroyed by Hoods were apparently being rebuil*.
