ART EXHIBITION.
A FINE COLLECTION. Opening next Monday there will be an exhibition in St. Peter’s Hall, Victoria Street, Hamitlon, of a collection of 100 original oil paintings, watercolours, and etchings, which because of the unusually high standard of work they represent, should attract a great deal of attention from the public. This collection has been brought here by Mr M. McCormick, artists’ representative, who is an art connoisseur. Among the long list of pictures enumerated ie the catalogue are many by famous artists, including David Law, R. 1., Claude Cardon, 1t.1., Geend King, R. 1., Frank Brar.gwyn, R.A, Fred Knowles, R. 1., H. Caffieri, R. 1., Norman Wilkinson, R.E., J. McLean Whistler, Frank Wasley, R. 1.. and others. The Exhibition will be open free of charge on Monday, and each day until Friday.
