FAREWELL VISIT TO ROTORUA. ROTORUA. Thursday. The Governor-General. Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fergusson, propose to pay a farewell visit to Rotorua about the end of November. They express the wish to bid farewell to Hie Maori community.

" Their Excellencies have always stood firm for the things which really matter in life, and by their personal examples, wide sympathies, untiring energy and kindness of heart, have firmly established themselves >u the heart of the people.” At the New Zealand Baptist Union assembly yesterday, admiration and appreciation were expressed of the high Christian stand taken by the GovernorGeneral, Sir Charles Fergusson, during his term of office in New Zealand.
