CHOIR SOCIAL,
A most enjoyable time was spent on Tuesday evening by the choir members of First Church and their friends at a social in the Scouts’ Hall. Frankton. Games and competitions occupied the greater part, of the evening, and the following items were much appreciated:—Song, Miss M. Wallace; recitation, Miss A. Dempster; vocal duet, Mr and Miss Kay; elocution. Miss M. Dempster. Miss Riria Kay was the accompanist. A choir contest., the party being divided into four sections, caused a great deal of fun, and that conducted by Mr Kay was the successful one. A dainty supper was served, after which the Rev. Rogers led in family worship.
