ADDINGTON MARKET. At Addington a yarding of fat cattle much smaller than the previous week caused the better class of beef to ad"vancc by about 20s a head. In the case of secondary sorts, the'rise was from 15s to 20s a head. The yarding was of 390 head. The prices generally were the best obtained this season. A medium entry of store cattle comprised mainly cows, and there was a keen demand for young cattle. There was a good demand for the very small entry of vealers, and late prices were maintained. Thirteen races of fat sheep made a big entry, and prices eased by about Is a head for prime sheep and Is 6d a head for medium sorts. The tone of the market became even easier towards the end, and several lots were passed in. An easing was experienced in the case of store sheep, of which there was an average entry. Store wethers depreciated in value by from Is 6d to 2s a head. In the fat pig pens there was a medium entry of porkers and a small yarding of baconers. There was a good sale for both sorts.
