OHAUPO.
Social Evening. A social evening in aid of the sports queen was given by Mrs J. M. Titmarsh. The building was tastefully decorated. Cards, dancing and games were indulged in, the winners of the cards being: Bridge, ladies Mrs Taylor, men Mr Kemp; 500, ladies Mrs Harrington, men Mr Taylor. At the conclusion Mr Sage thanked. Mrs Titmarsh for the very enjoyable evening, and also thanked the friends from Ngahinapouri and Paterangi. He called for three cheers, which were heartily given. Supper was dispensed and thoroughly enjoyed.
