RAGLAN.

Amateur Performance. The Raglan Town Hall was well filled when lopal amateurs staged the three-act comedy ‘’Jane” in aid of the funds of Uio Raglan Bowling Club. The farce went with a swing from start to finish and the house roared with merriment at the witty lines. The principal part was taken by Mrs A. L. Pegler as “Jane,” and she carried it out as to the manner born. All the parts were well taken. The cast was as follows: —Jane, Mrs A. L. Pegler; Mrs Chadwick, Mrs J. O’Sullivan; Lucy, Mrs W. F. Johns; Mrs Plxton, Mr E. Galvan; Charles Shackleton, Mr A. G. Kirkwood; Mr Kershaw, Dr. Sanders; William, Mr J. M. Thompson; Claude, Mr K. Grey; Mr PlxtOD, Mrs E. Galvan. At the close of the performance Mr E. W. Bernard, president of the Raglan Rowling Club, thanked the performers and made a presentation to Mrs A. L. pegler for the great assistance givon by her. Tha Raglan Orchestra supplied excellent music for the performance and for the dance which followed.
