Cullum, Kakamutu road, in honour of Mrs W. Eveleigh, widow of the late Mr William Eveleigh, Kio Kio, who is to be married to Mr D. W. Selbie next month. After a pleasant afternoon with music, song and competitions, Mrs Eveleigh was the recipient of a very handsome silver rose-bowl. The Otorohanga Golf Club has presented the winner of the ladies’ strok competition, Miss N. Hitchings, Ivit Kio, with a beautiful solid silver cup suitably engraved.
