14 DAYS IN THE BUSH.
WOMAN’S AWFUL ORDEAL. CHILD FOUND DEAD. TOP OF HEAD BLOWN OFF. (Australian Press Association.) (Received Aug. 12, 9.40 ami.) BRISBANE, August 12. Mrs Bottrell, who was found on Friday, after wandering in the bush for fourteen days, following her disappearance with her five-year-old child, was identified by her husband. The child was found soon after its disappearance with the top of its head blown away.
The woman’s mind is still a blank. She has a wound on the forehead, probably caused by a bullet. She remembers nothing of her wanderings, except waking up With blood on her clothes and being followed by wild Pig's.
