IS IT FAIR?
(To the LJdltor.) Sir,—l noticed where the Waikato Uricket Association, in considering proposals at a recent meeting for a visit of the English team to, Hamilton next year, arc keen on getting a North island eleven to oppose the tourists. They did this last year against Australia, and 1b this fair to cricketers in the Waikato? Those actively interested in the game here are keen on learning all they can and actual play is the best way to make progress. To my idea it should he a full Waikato eleven and no “foreigners.”—l am, etc., STUMPS.
