CRICKETERS CONCERNED.
REQUEST TO DOMAIN BOARD. COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS. In view of the forthcoming visit of the English team the Waikato Cricket Association is devoting a considerable amount of attention to the improvement of playing conditions at Seddon Park. Recently they approached the Domain Board with a request for the levelling of an elevated piece of ground to the w’est of their new representative wicket in the middle of the ground. This the board agreed to do, and w’ork was commenced, hut not completed, and at the board’s meeting last evening a request was received from the association urging the completion of the w'ork. The matter was left in the hands ot Mr R. C. Fowler.
