HAMILTON COURTHOUSE
OPERATIONS COMMENCED. PREPARATION OF THE SITE. Mr John R. Simpson, of Auckland, who has secured the contract for the erection of the new Courthouse at Hamilton, has commenced operations. A start has been made preparing the site, a team of men with ploughs, scoops, etc., being employed. It is presumed that the excavation for concrete will be commenced in a few days. The lime allowed for completion of the contract is 16 months—that is October, 1930. The contract price is £25,888 13s.
