DALCROZE EURYTHMICS.
INTERESTING DEMONSTRATION ots Yesterday afternoon Miss Beryl Whistler of Auckland, a graduate of the Dalcroze School of Eurythmics, London, gave a very instructive and interesting demonstration in the assembly hall of the Diocesan Girls’ School, which had been lent for the occasion by the headmistress. Miss R. Robertson and Miss P. Ahi’eld, two Auckland students accompanied her and assisted in the dem.onstrat.on. Many interested in the movement attended and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. In a few words Miss Ada Necker of Auckland introduced Miss Whistler to the audience, and spoke of the great practical use eurythmics proved to be, in the study of music. At the close of the demonstration Miss Eva Necker thanked Miss Whistler and voiced the appreciation of all present.
