CLOSER SETTLEMENT.
OFER TO GOVERNMENT. THREE ESTATES IN MARLBOROUGH (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Tuesday. The Bankhouse and Marchburn estates, which adjourn at the confluence of the Waihopai and Wairau Rivers, about ten miles from Blenheim, have been offered to the Government for closer settlement. The Delta estate also adjoins the properties referred to, and is available for closer settlement. The three properties, if subdivided, would afford an opportunity for a closer settlement scheme on a fairly large scale.
