A WET MONTH.
RAINFALL IN JUNE. HAMILTON FIGURES. Although the first six months ol last year were wetter in Hamilton than the corresponding period this year, last month more rain fell than during June, 1928. Details of the rainfall are as follows, figures for last year appearing in parentheses:— , Total rainfall for June 6.66' inches (3.22) ; number of wet days, 22 (16) ; maximum fall, .88, on 24th (.47 on 28th).
The rainfall up to the end of June has been 20.35 inches, campared with. 25.84 indies for the same period last year.
