SOCIAL AND EUCHRE
AT NGARUAWAHIA. A social in aid of the Ngaruawahia League Football Club was held in the Masonic Hall. The attendance, in view of the inclemency of the weather, was more than gratifying. Dancing to music supplied by Mr Jackson's loud speaker was carried on until 1 a.m. Extras were played by Mr f'impson and Miss Morriss. The duties of M.C. were performed by Mr Sumich.
Card players were catered for hv a euchre tournament, the prize-winners being: Ladies, Mrs Abbott; men, Mr 11. Hill.
An excellent supper was provided by the committee, who are indebted to Mrs Tittleton for her great assistance.
