THIRD ANNUAL DANCE

NEW ZEALAND DAIRY SPORTS CLUB. Thursday evening marked the occasion of the third annual dance held under the auspices of the New Zealand Co-op. Dairy Sports Club. Despite the boisterous nature of the weather, the Regent .Ballroom, which was elaborately and attractively decorated, was very quickly tilled, and the company, consisting of the staff and their friends, enjoyed a very pleasant night’s dancing. Music was supplied by the Regent Orchestra, while extras were played by Miss S. Wright and Mr S. Tombs. The hostesses for the evening were Airs Thomson, wearing a charming frock of black satin and apricot georgette, and Mrs Tyne, wearing black sequinned georgette. Mrs Parlane and Mrs Harvey, who were also to act ns hostesses, were unable to attend on account of illness. -Mr G. J. Parlane. general manager, Mr Dynes Fulton, chairman of directors, nnd Mr A. E. Harvey, assistant manager, were also unable lo attend owing lo prior business engagements. At 10.30 p.in. a delicious supper was served, after which dancing was continued until 1.30 a.m. General expressions of entire satisfaction on the part of the guests lead one to believe that the Sports Club Dance Committee. who are already noted for the quality of their entertainments, have eclipsed all previous efforts in this their third annual dance.
