Ladies’ Singles.

Third Round. —Miss Tapscott beat Miss Mathicu. Fourth round. —Mrs Mollquaham beat Senorita Alvarez, G /,, \ —G, G—2; Miss Helen Jacobs (America), beat Miss Joan Fry, G—3, G— .'i; Mrs Bunny beat Miss Eileen Bennett, 3 —G, G—i, G —4. Mixed Doubles. First round. —Brugnon and Madame Mathieu beat Lycett and Mrs Lycett, 9 7, 7 — 5; Coehet and Miss Bennett beat Prcnn and Miss Assem; G—l, 7—5. Men’s Doubles. Second round. —Kozeluh and Andrews beat Timmer and Coen, 7—5, G 3, 3 6, G —4 : Tilden and Hunter beat Turnbull and Gilbert, 6 —3, 6 —3, 6 —4. Andrews and Kozeluh had a meritorious win against a hard hitting pair, both of whom were exceptionally effective overhead.
