AUSTRALIAN DISPUTE.
ENGINEERS CALLED OUT. FROM NORTHERN COAL MINES. 'Australian Press Association.) (Received June 29, 9.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 29. The State Council of the Engine-1 drivers’ and Firemen's Union has decided to call out all men from the Northern mines. The Southern and Western engine-drivers are to be left at work for the present to provide the “sinews of war" for the Northern men. During the week-end mechanics, 1 deputies, and engineers will he asked to follow the engine-drivers. I This grave decision means that all) the machinery at the mines where the owners have made no special arrangements will be at a standstill.
