WHEAT IN CANTERBURY.
“FREE” SUPPLY EXHAUSTED. “POOL” DRAWN UPON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. There is a good deal more wheat going out from the wheat pool than before, and millers are beginning to draw on the pool wheat in the stores. Prices have hardened, and there is a good deal of inquiry fro.m buyers. It is reported that the supply of “free” wheat in the country is practically exhausted.
