ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
CAR STRUCK BY TRAIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, Thursday. A car driven by Mr John Stalker, manager for Barraud and Abraham, along Klmbolton Road last evening struck the tender of the engine of a goods train- The car was knocked some distance and Mr Stalker slightly Injured. THOUGHT IT WAS MEDICINE, AUCKLAND, Friday. A drink taken from a botlle of embrocation in mistake for a cough mixture which was one the- same table resulted in an invalid, Mr William Francis Finlay, aged 55, of Freeman’s Bay, being admitted to the Hospital yesterday morning, suffering from poisoning in a mild form.
