WAIHI STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., reporL having held their Waihi sale on Thursday, when an average yarding of cattle came forward. All classes of cattle were in keen demand and wc were successful in clearing the whole yarding at satisfactory prices. Quotations: Forward steers to £9 ss; fat cows, £7 to £7 18s; forward cows, £6 to £6 18s; fresh-conditioned store cows, £5 to £5 18s; store cows, £8 to £4 17s 6d; cows and calves to £7 18s; Jersey heifer calves, £2 to £3 15s; dairy cows, £7 10s to £l2; dairyheifers, £8 10s to £9 ss. WAINGARO SALE. Messrs. G. W. Vercoe and Co., Ltd., report having held a stock sale at Waingaro on Thursday, when they yarded 837 fat and forward wethers and 330 head of cattle. They quote the following sales: Fat wethers—2so at 3Gs 4d; 120 at 35s Id; 180 at 34s 10d--130 forward wethers 32s 3d; fat bullocks, £11; forward conditioned 3J and 4-year steers, £7 17s to £8 17s Gd; do., 21-year, £7 to £7 15s; 18months Shorthorn cross steers, £G 17s good quality Red Polled steer calves, £5 to £5 ,17s Gd; Polled Angus do. £5 7s; heifer calves £4 15s; forward conditioned cows, £G 7s Gd to £6 17s Gd; in-calf Shorthorn cross heifers, £5 9s to £7 15s; bulls, potters, £4 to £6 10s.
