PRISONERS SENTENCED
IN AUCKLAND SUPREME COURT.
AUCKLAND, Wednesday
Albert Hong Duk was sentenced in the Supreme Court to one year’s imprisonment for theft and false pretences, having obtained £93 from a young Chinese, represented as required to. secure an extension of a temporary residence permit. Bertram Augustine O’Connor (35) was sentenced to four years’ hard labour l'or indecent assault and exposure. Ronald Alfred Monten, ship’s steward, received 12 months’ imprisonment for theft. Peter Dowie was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for indecent assault.
