DRAGS MAN FROM MACHINERY,

The Prince of Wales’ presence of mind during the North-east Coast Exhibition, saved Mr Guinness, foreman of the exhibition, from an ugly and possibly a fatal accident. Mr Guinness was sitting on a ladder above a mass of tin can making machinery which was rotating at high speed. In pointing out the features to the Pripce, Mr Guinness snatched at a tin hnd was accidentally caught in the machine and slipped off the ladder. He hung with his feet within a few inches of the open machinery. The Prince grabbed his overalls, but they slipped from his lingers. Mr Guinness was again threatened with the loss of his legs until the Prince gripped him a second time and dragged Mr Guinness to safety. . _ k... „ .
