CONVERSION OF CAR
YOUTHS BEFORE COURT. REMANDED TO WANGANUI. Charged with the wrongful conversion of a car valued at £3OO, the property ol‘ Mr. George V. Adams, oj Wanganui, two hoys aged 10 and 17 respectively, appeared before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Hamilton Magistrate’s Court this morning. They were remanded to appear at Wanganui on May 21. The accused drove through from Wanganui and were arrested in Hamilton yesterday. The youths were apprehended llirough a system inaugurated by the Motor Traders’ Association. When Mr. Adams, the owner of tlie ear, learned of its disappearance, he Immediately communicated witli the Motor Traders’ Association at Wellington, which circularised its members throughout New Zealand, supplying particulars of the car and where it was last seen. It was through this information that Mr. Tappcnden, of Tappenden Bros., noticed the car in Hamilton and Informed the police.
