LATE SIR J. WILSON.
TRIBUTE TO HIS MEMORY. FROM N.Z. FARMERS’ UNION. CBy Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The death of the late president and patron of the Now Zealand Farmers’ Union, Sir James Wilson, was referred to at the commencement of the quarterly oxecutivc meeting, the president, Mr Poison, M.P., proposing a vote of condolence. He said Sir James Wilson had borne the heat and burden of the day, and had assisted tremendously in the establishment of the present farmers’ organisation. He was a splendid pioneer, and a man of whom the union might he proud. The motion was passed in silence, the members standing.
