ROBERTSTEIN having sold his property at RUKUHIA (close to the main road between Hamilton and Ohaupo) has instructed us to sell on the above date his CHOICE HIGHGRADE HERD OP YOUNG JERSEY COWS, YOUNG STOCK, FARM SUNDRIES, ETC., comprising:— 84 Jersey Cows, 53 carrying 2nd. calf and the balance 3rd. calf, to a son and grandson of “Waipiko Masterpiece.” 1 Pedigree Jersey Bull, Grandson of “Waipiko Masterpiece.” 1 Pedigree Jersey Bull Calf by •‘Alfalfa Yankee.” 7 High Grade Heifer Calves. 5 High Grade Bull Calves. 4 Fat Cows. Cambridge Roller, as new; Harness; Posts and Wire; Poultry, and Farm Sundries. AUCTIONEER’S NOTE. —Mr. Robertstein’s cows are of exceptionally good even type and in splendid condition. As stated above they are in calf to a son of ‘‘Waipiko Masterpiece” “Alaifa Yankee”) and a grandson of the same great Butter-fat Bull. Nineteen Cows and due to calve by the end of July and the balance in August and early September. • The herd has been tested by the Waikato Valley Herd-Testing Association and a catalogue showing individual records and calving dates will be available previous to the sale. The returns to the end of April show an average of 2501 b of fat, including 53 heifers, and the average test for April was 6.2. We recommend this herd to buyers requiring high-class cows.
