MINOR INJURIES
SUSTAINED BY BOY. CAR AND CYCLE COLLIDE. A collision between a car driven by Dr. F. D. Pinfold and a bicycle ridden by Douglas Crabb, aged 11 years, of Norton Road, Frankton, occurred this afternoon. The boy received a cut on the head and bruises and abrasions.
The doctor was proceeding from Hamilton down Norton Road towards the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company’s factory, and the boy was approaching Hamilton. The boy swerved over and struck the righthand side of the car, fell off, and sustained the injury.
An eye-witness stated that the boy could not reach the pedals of the cycle too well, and he appeared to slip off the pedal, which caused the bicycle to turn. '
