Most daring aeroplane manoeuvres were witnessed to-day at Lc Bourgct. One hundred and five reconnoitring bombing machines took off simultaneously an (I rose into the air. After flying three miles they formed into a compact mass. Flying at an altitude of 3000 feet they were under the protection of 40 ciiasing aeroplanes which had overtaken them and circled continually at a higher level. This beautiful formation scheme required the nicest precision. It was carried out without a hitch.
