CHRISTCHURCH TO AUCKLAND. ONLY EIGHT HOURS IN AIR. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. To breakfast in Christchurch sit down to an early tea in Auckland was the experience yesterday of Major G. A. C. Cowper, instructor for the Auckland Aero Club, and Mr Spencer Mason, a member of the committee. The flight was made in the second Gipsy Moth machine allocated by the Government to the Auckland club, and only eight hours were spent in the air, the time for the whole journey of over 550 miles being 10 hours 40 minutes.
