CRICKET.

THE GAME IN HAMILTON. TO-MORROW’S FIXTURES. The Hamilton cricket competitions will be advanced a stage further tomorrow afternoon, when the senior A and B matches commenced last Saturday will be completed, and a fresh round of junior fixtures will be commenced. In the Senior A competition Hamilton, with eight wickets down for 134 in reply to Hamilton East’s 17.1, will resume their innings on No. 1 wicket, while on No. 2 wicket Frankton, with a first innings' lead of four runs over Old Boys, will continue their second innings, in which they have two wickets down for 8. In view of the representative match against Wellington next week the players will doubtless be on their best behaviour, and with good wickets and a fast outfield there should be some attractive cricket. Ngaruawahia and Huntly having defeated Railways and Old Boys respectively in one day last Saturday, only two Senior B matches will be played. High School, with a first innings lead of 129 over Frankton, are in a good position in this game, which is being played on the School ground; but the game between Hamilton East and Y.M.C.A. on No. 3 wicket at Seddon Park, is in a very interesting position, Hamilton East having made 277 on the first day, to which Y.M.C.A. have replied with 127 for three wickets. The junior fixtures are as follows: — Hamilton East v. Technical, at Seddon Park No. 4; Cambridge A v. Old Boys, at Steele Park No. 1; Frankton v. Y.M.C.A., at Seddon Park No. 4 (transferred from Steele Park). Play will commence at 2 p.m. and will cease at 6.30. THE TEAMS. Old Boys. Juniors: Phillips, Crabb, Yallop, West. Ferguson, King.
